Me next? Main ride is an 00 KLR650 but I collect/restore/have a bunch of old Japanese bikes, especially the old Suzuki GT bikes.

If relevant, I actively dislike the KLR (too much street bias for what I bought it for) and since I've got one of the first 700 Honda XL's sold in the US (XL250 -- can't remember the year -- 74? 76?) that handles dirt duties for me now, I've got my eye on a plain-jane 78 GL1000 to trade the KLR for.

Edit: I've always been VERY partial to the plain GL's before they became touring bikes, and have had H2's, GT750's, a CBX, and many other unusual/unique Japanese bikes. The KLR was probably my 100th or so bike, and the first I ever bought new. I prefer to have to fix them before I ride them.
