Earlie,

I speed all over creation. I have averaged 1 speeding ticket every four years over the past 24 years. The average cost of each ticket was $87.

Therefore, I see it costing me ~$21.75 each year for the right to speed all over creation at my own discretion. ;-) Not a bad deal. Heh.

Also, the occasional tickets I have received never resulted in an increase in my insurance premiums.

Of note, I hadn't received a ticket for about 7 years until last October (2002) on an early Sunday morning, with virtually no traffic, on a lonely highway. Bizarre.

John

Up here, on the major highways, the traffic universally zips along without problems at 120 Km to 125 Km (speed limit 100Km).

Yeah right, except between 7 am and 10am and between 3pm and 7 pm.-g/ng

After 1000 trips between Toronto and Kingston, I have figured out that 119 km/h will keep them out of your back pocket along the 401. Been ticketed at 121 though.-g/ng

well Valentine One is a good product but as for non-detectable I don't know of one.

In CT it used to also be illegal to use a radar detector and the ruse would be to turn it off b/4 the officer could detect you had a detector. They would then confiscate it anyway until someone took them to court (you know probablly incurring 20,000 in legal costs to get back a $300 item).

After losing the court case its no longer illegal.

Anyway in CT the State Troupers now use laser while most towns are still radar.
