Eric, but for this to wrk, someone would have to go for less favorable quotes posted by MMs? With access to ECNs being widely available, I doubt many would do it. This would tip the odds in favor of ECNs greatly, MMs would only continue lose business to them... or I misunderstand something?

I suppose they can inflation adjust the spread each year also, to make sure it is "fair" and not cause the sell side to miss any future meals!!!
