Can't say as I've ever read the Steve Roper/Mike Nomad strip. Did buy a Firesign Theater CD recently and listened to the exploits of Nick Danger and Porgy Tirebiter... <g> So water vapor permeation thru polymers is the sticky wicket, eh? It isn't too good for the ceramic superconductors either. I suppose they've tried Teflon AF and Parylene.... Polymers are sensitive, I guess. I recently heard that you can't e-beam films on OLEDs because of the X-rays!! Go figure. JF
