Oh yeah, they put it in there and then it got taken right back out but what is interesting is that the demand for currency just keeps rising. Now how much cash do you carry? I'm as close to be completely cashless as I can get. I thought about getting some money out of the ATM for Y2K but then it struck me as stupid because if it really unraveled what you want is guns, batteries and canned goods.

When I won $1000 in Aruba a few years back at the slot machines and they paid me off with ten crisp $100 bills I didn't know quite how to act. I do know both me and the hubby had exactly the same reaction....let's leave and never come back! It was funny for someone like myself where $1000 appears and disappears on a daily basis on screen. There is something magical about holding large amounts of cash in your hands after years of having everything be just an electronic entry.
