As you might recall, there was an "oil for food" regime in place until the war. This was being administered for the sake of the Iraqi people by the UN. Oh indeed it was Raymond... It was being administered for the DIRECT economic benefit of of those nations who were cozying up with Saddam Hussein... puk.org timesonline.co.uk Which is again, only a small percentage of the 1,000,000+ Iraqis who've died due to the sanctions regime that the U.S. was primarily responsible for administering. Please document with facts. That's a BS statistic that has permeated the Iraqi Wackies for years now... Those who tried to get the sanctions lifted so Russia and France could get those lucrative oil deals... But now those two countries don't want to lift those sanctions anymore. So should we start blaming THEM for all of the Iraqis who have and will die after the war?? Total disdain for phony, imposed and illegitimate regime in the White House But 12 years of tacit support for maintaining the brutal, murderous regime of Saddam Hussein is alright??.. I'd say that such support by people like yourself, along with France, Germany, and Russia, for his regime, propping him up, never forcing him to obey binding UN resolutions and disarm, were EVEN MORE WILLFULLY EVIL. Lest you conveniently attempt to block the reality, it was the US and UK who led the efforts to contain, and possibly overthrow Saddam, but who constantly were constrained themselves by their "allies" who wanted the UNSC to work their "magic".. The Bushies want to exterminate the Iraqis. I sure wish they would start with the Durays first... Hawk
