I've answered these several times already, but won't hurt to answer Once again. <g>

Not sure why SI slowed down. No idea. I don't understand even tiny pieces of the platform, which is one of the reasons it's being ported over to a platform I'm familiar with.

However, when the ISP identified a problem on their end and fixed it, the site sped up dramatically for me and others have reported the same.

iHub was affected by the same problems. Same ISP.

However, shortly after the ISP problem was fixed, one of iHub's switches died a horrible death. It was replaced at the ISP with a temporary and is running fine now and I expect to be up there tomorrow replacing both of its switches with much better quality ones. I've had good experiences with the cheapies it was using and hadn't felt compelled to replace them, even with the addition of a distinctly non-cheapie set of servers, but I guess what I've learned here is that while those cheapie switches can handle small business traffic levels forever without failure, they're not up to the rigors of constant pounding they get in this application.
