WI has one of the best benefit for children who have Autism, and the program brings the attention from other states of the US and even other countries, and some families move here just because of this, which increases the WI tax payers burden a lot. And personally, I should be concerned with the mercury with Dental care since I have cavity. Maybe I am better off just to pull it out<g> "MADISON, Wis. -- The cost of a state program providing free intensive in-home therapy to autistic children exploded from just $2,363 in 1994 to almost $32 million last year as the number of children diagnosed with the developmental disability grew, according to the state Department of Health and Family Services. Under the current program, children can receive 25 to 35 hours a week of intensive in-home therapy until they turn 16. That includes one-on-one attention from therapists who work with the children on skills such as communication and socialization. ... Wisconsin does not track the number of autistic children.
