MON,
I still watch the BBC. I think their news coverage is better than the american networks including cable. They do have what you have called the "European" view of the mideast problem and sometimes they whine a bit much about poor treatment of Pals while minimizing suicide bombers but like the NYTimes they still are better than the alternatives.
