<Taiwanese gov. goes insane and declares independence>

Do they still claim to be the government of all China?

three factors you might underestimate

1. China economic strength might be appealed to by weakening Taiwan, who has tons of bank reserves tied up in insane USTBonds, whose export business to US will surely dwindle as we weaken

2. US Military by then will be so occupied with occupation, in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and maybe Iran, spreading our only remaining strength a bit thin

3. our trade gap versus China by then will be so incredibly huge that we will not balk at ANYTHING China wants
