Did I say someone was ripping me off? That would be your inference, and it's a strange one considering I said what I do was a labor of love and that I DO love my job. I am doing exactly what I want to do- and I love going to my job, and I love being at my job. But most people aren't me. I don't know where you live, but housing prices here for a small starter home are around 350-400k. I am not worried about me at all- I don't have to work- my husband doesn't care if I do, and we certainly don't need the money- but many of the people I know are not in that situation. The salary is meaningless with the context of the cost of living- it's high here. California is great- but if you haven't got money, you won't be able to buy a house.
