Did I say someone was ripping me off?

You said you were working as a School Teacher in California for 22K a year. The inference was that you were working full time. You still haven't been clear, but I guess you are working part time.

My wife, now ex, is retired from the Saddleback School dist in Orange Country. Every Teacher I know in the District is a Homeowner. A lot of them are Married to other Teachers, and own very expensive homes. They are not sweating the bucks. You noticed the article I posted indicated that California had the highest paid Teachers in the Country. And in my years there, the number one reason given for the lousy schools was that they did not make enough money.

The Article also mentioned that South Dakota had the lowest paid Teachers in the country. Would you care to guess where they rank in the country as to quality of schools? The point is that there is no coorelation between Teachers Salaries and School quality.
