Good morning robv- Please tell me the terms of the deal as you understand them. If the Moritz experts are right, the QCOM's press releases describing the terms of the deal would appear to be a monstrous and evident deception that would have come to light long before now. Two things tell me this isn't likely. First, Irwin Jacobs isn't in jail. Second, the joint press release the companies issued is pretty darn clear about the royalty arrangement.

As part of the agreement, Nokia will continue to pay royalties to Qualcomm for subscriber equipment at the same rates established by the terms of the original cross-license agreement in 1992, irrespective of the CDMA standard implemented.

Any factually documented information to the contrary would be sincerely appreciated.
