I think there are three reasons:

1. It has had a large and protracted move up and some people decided it was time to sell, and there may have been stop-loss orders below.

2. The Aussie dollar has been down two days in a row, and considerably.

3. As a consequence of (2), the NAV was down 13 cents (XFAPX) yesterday and will be down today.

I might well have sold my own FAX yesterday except I had a certificate issued over a year ago and it's in a safe deposit box. I didn't expect such a rise. Also, even at 15%, taxes are no fun.

The dividend has nothing to do with today's price action, in any case. Maybe somewhere there are rumors of a revived secondary offering, but all I have heard is rumors of a share buy-back.
