>>Why did anyone believe that bull shit to begin with?<<

I still don't know the answer to that -- I guess there are ton of people that are

1) terribly gullible
2) wanted a rally in the markets
or
3) r under the charistatic hex of W??

Like I said -- I don't get it. Must be the new, new math ...

the amazing thing is that the neocons were ever able to frame the debate around wmds to begin with... i mean really... what business is it of 'ours' who has wmds... and why do 'we' get to have wmds and other people are not allowed?... kind of weird if you think about it...

i mean all of a sudden pakistan is our best buddy when they were huge supporters of taliban next door to them... and pakis have the bomb... israel has it... but oh no heaven forbid the likes of saddam (cia agent) should have any bomb...

what i'm saying is that yes it is funny that there are no wmds there in iraq... but again even funnier is the fact that there was ever a debate about it to begin with...

i think that everyone should have a bomb... i would certainly like to have one... it just seems funny that the bomb is considered to be 'ok' in some hands but not in others... well either way, in the long run the bombs will be used... i just hope i'm at ground zero and not in the area where the skin melts off... unless of course there is miraculously a huge stash of morphine nearby... that would be trippy
