If Bush had any sense he would have kept his mouth shut on this issue, instead of chiming in with his views on how CA was fiscally mismanaged (it was, of course but Bush's slimy energy friends helped the process along). His stance on CAs budget crisis is a net negative for any republican candidate that tries for office here. Not that they could ever win anyway, with their social conservative stance that CA has rejected for a decade. They're like those bugs that fly into the fire until they eventually die!
