So Yogi, with cree above the pivot today, and the market is in a confirmed uptrend, and with a short squeeze a strong possibility, does your view that a correction will occur? Or could the stock go up to establish a new resistance level, back down to a point near the 24.125 pivot, then resume its' upward trend as the shorts get worried? And fundamentally, with the earnings and sales showing signs of acceleration, where should the new resistance top out ?

thanks.. I keep looking at the yearly high number and was thinking if we go through it... and signs of economy turning around.. investments depreciation, tax credits, low interest, low u.s. dollar.. perhaps we do not go back down..

then again maybe this is the end of the month for investments firms etc and they are inflating the value of their holdings and will sell off MOnday. g but things like do not happen do they?

Have a nice weekend...

Yogi; how does Cree with this open to buy short interest reach an overbought signal? Just a question, because as I see it CREE cant be overbought with all these IOU's outstanding, its pretty basic supply and demand.

I've said before this stock is under the boot of a program by parties with some interest in some outcome, otherwise the conditions which prevail in the current sense would not prevail. Do a free float analysis and discover what the actual supply to market equation is, you will be surprised at how badly in the red CREE is.

There are so many factors that could be affecting the trading, and the current imbalance is backed up by this.
I am not interested in speculating publicly about it, but there is a Program being run here, which has captured the trading range for months. Whether that changes Monday or Tuesday or Never is anyones guess. Discover the Intent behind the actions and you've figured out all you need to know.
