<<Is the real issue that we're going to run out of exploitable cheap labor, as each area goes through the progression to higher wages as they develop? What effect would THAT have, if we had to pay $50 a day instead of $5, minimum, for inexpensive labour? Is that what you meant by economic problems?>>

What a horrible thing that would be for the thousands of Nike workers to finally outearn as a group what Michael Jordan is paid by Nike simply for endorsements.. Ditto Lebronne James. (I really don't care. I don't buy Nike crud but it amazes me that Jordan is paid more than their entire workforce is paid to make their products)

good thoughts, wuwt

another way of looking at things, is that we are contributing to GLOBAL REST (as opposed to american civil unrest) by distributing jobs and wealth all around the world to the poorest people who need it the most.

our loss is their gain.

this does not make americans who lose jobs any happier, but economics, like all dynamic systems, must constantly deal with 'dialectical synthesis,' figuring out ways of balancing the needs of opposing forces.

dangerous...? yes.
new...? no.
