So that each and everyone of us is renewed completely in so many cycles throughout our lives ? Or to know that every sense and impression of theirs , is dependent on over 75,000miles of nervous fibres and tendril which laid end to end would encircle the earth over 3 times. Or to see the spermatazoa swimming up the vaginal canals into the uterus with all the purpose of the divine , and witness that moment of creation and one pentrates the egg's outerwalls , and that very moment of conception. Then what would these scribes , holymen and prophets say next when they witnessed the evolution of the fetus ...going thru early collection of a ball of cells congealing , from reptile to fish , and pig to monkey and finally in later stages develope into tiny perfect human form ? What would they have said then i wonder ...hmmmm. I'm sure that one would have made them all go mad to have seen, that tiny little fetus with that tail .<G> Let me ask you a question Brian , and you can answer for all "christians" if you like . Just where do you think that "Light" comes from , that you see in your most exalted ecstatic and reverie~filled moments? When they hinted at the body being the temple of the soul , they only had the barest clue , as it were , it being one of the most remarkable things in all creation and miracles abounding within it every moment of the day , whether you are waking or sleeping. Nice not having to remember to breath isn't it , for instance ? Or to have that immune system that fights off infections and bacterial onslaughts on a daily basis without you ever having to stop to think of it. So many metaphors could be woven around this one thing which is ourselves , that religion has a high purpose to to describe the reality of, for that is what all religion must do...to describe "reality" and discover "truth" . Or the mission fails. Breath brian ...just remember to breath, thats one good place to start . (And maybe take up "square-dancing" too !) ;-) PS: I am able to mingle freely with Christians , Jews , Moslems or Hindus ...as I see a part of truth in all of them ...and even a greater simpler truth for they all are trying to say the same things . Hope you learn to see this too someday , then you will have truely grown, and "seen the light ". hehe
