Arnie19,

We had a great time yesterday on the golf course.
The weather held up until we completed all 18 and then
began to pour as we exited the parking lot.

I was shooting well considering the new clubs and lack of
swing time this Spring.

Actually I started out breaking a new personal record for a
hack like myself. I made it through twelve holes without
losing a ball. The rest of our foursome had lost quite a
few. And when I was hitting them they were flying somewhat
straight. The weakest aspect of my game was the putting.
Almost embarrassing bad. I three-putted so many darn holes.

Anyhow it was on that 12th hole where everything spiraled
down hill fast. I just finished explaining how this was the
longest I ever went without losing a single golfball. That
put the jinx in motion. I immediately hit one in the thick
woods and two into the pond.

Then I really messed up.
I took out a divot the size of that diving hole in Belize.
It was huge and unexpected.

I think I fugged up my right hand.
It's been sore as heck and hurts to move it. Feels like a
tendon problem or something along the top part of my hand
mostly in the region south of my pinky and ring finger.

I can use it to type but doing much else sort of hurts.

Hopefully it just heals itself.

Anyhow the last part of my game wasn't particularly good
but I'm anxious to get out there again as soon as I can
swing.

Did that ever happen to you?

-Clapper

king19-

You have a satellite dish on that boat don't ya?

no...

it looks like one from a distance, but it's a bbq grill.

then you can pull my butterfly perch. :-)

i loved your golf comparisons... the secret of life

me to re-read golf in the kingdom by michael murphy.
