Wouldn't it be great if you could buy and sell options on companies claims!!!

I'd be buying the June 2005 Verizon, SBC, and Bell South PUTS (shorting, in other words) on: FTTH homes passed and FTTH subscribers for RBOC triple play.

Trouble is, I probably wouldn't make much money on it since no one else believes they are sincere or capable either (well, except for a few credulous members of the FTTH Council and the FCC).

I'd probably also be buying the Dec 2006 calls on the 2006 triennial review resulting in re-imposed unbundling <ggg>.
