Of course John, you'd prefer to believe Vanity Fair, because it's more politically acceptable to you. Actually not, Derek, if you would slow down your need to insult rather than talk. I don't happen to have a horse in this race. I'm simply struck by the fact that you and many other posters here seem to know the DOD is right and Vanity Fair is wrong. And, what's most interesting, you would be adamantly, stridently, moralistically, on the other side if Gore had been selected by the Supremes and we were talking about Sam Nunn as the Sec of Defense.
