Have YOU ever been out of Texas? well, yes, now that you mention it; for most of my life. Ever been to a UNIVERSITY outside of the US? yes, i have a graduate degree from outside the US. so what is your point? I don't know of too many graduate schools in the world without running water, no matter where they are located i agree, toilets are neat-o. so what is your point? Did you happen to see the 60 minutes piece on IIT in India? no, most of my exposure to foreign cultures has not come via pseudo-intellectual television or sushi bars. i do know a couple of IIT grads, though. currently unemployed thanks to the tech slump.
