This is what worries me, but evidently not the powers that be. Kyros, on what basis do you claim that this doesn't worry the "powers that be"? I don't know how many interviews I have heard with intelligence sources inside and outside of the government who have made it plain that they are worried as hell about it. What more do you want them to do? Tell their worries in explicit detail, so that Al Qaeda can get better ideas? I don't know how the stuff got looted from Al Tuwaitha. One minute the Marines were saying, we can't leave, the local peasants will loot this stuff and kill themselves, the next I heard it had been looted by the local peasants, who are poisoning themselves with it. Screwups happen in wartime, it doesn't mean that commanders don't care.
