Hmmm... Could be, but I would approach the doctors not the hospitals. It should at least work for stuff that is done in the office. As I said I use catastrophic insurance only. The hospitals/doctors treat me the same as any other insured even though I end up being responsible for a greater portion of the bill than most. IE they don't seem to be smart enough to differentiate between different types of insurance.

Perhaps we could offer some bogus health insurance to poor people that doesn't really cover anything, but that will give them something to show when they walk in the door. Would have to change the name every 6 months or so to keep ahead of the hospitals as they start to catch on...

P.S. Check out Mexico if you are paying cash and want a bargain. I've heard you can save a bundle on dental work performed by American trained dentists. <ng>
