Yesterdays selloff wasnt selling at all it was more shorting, today few sellers again only obfucation. So IMO the bears that are short are just puffing about going long because they are not covering. JT might be helpful for you to check the ration of cash to short open interest and tell us whether its still over 100. The real large imbalances are getting worse not better, it seems that the game that is being played is to talk the market lower in the face of supply imbalances everywhere. It s the same trying, to use sentiment indicators as useful tools even though the games been moved to another board. Adaptation means covering and that has not happened. Me thinks there are just too many Hedge funds who dont realize their own perdicament, the employees on these threads are still posting last years news using last years fears. Many of these managers have never thought about an end game other than the BS political map they've laid out to try and beat GWB. Law firms as hedge funds working according to a script thats been interrupted and no road map to fix it.
