The consensus is bullish, not bearish, as indicated by the rising share price. The thoughts and actions of a few people on this thread is but a drop in the bucket.

OT: I have to agree with Sam the consensus is overly bullish. The fact that no one here is willing to chase any stock without a pullback first on the long side is simply a sign that we are a more astute group of short term investors.

Longer term AMAT may indeed be a great buy here but short term its upside as shown on the five day chart I am following is severely limited.

Yes AMAT could move even higher over the next two sessions but unless INTC indicates something that suggests a higher capex tomorrow night the stock will drop.
