Very strange. I thought that the Democratic party mantra was to promote diversity. They sure like it in race, cultural, and gender preference issues.

I guess they are right, though. The common enemy of liberals is ordinary, decent American values. That is indeed a very strong enemy.

Interesting piece. Well done. Looks like fairly predictable stuff for this stage but worrisome for the Dems if it lasts into primary season and certainly beyond worrisome if it lasts into the national campaigns.

At the moment, it looks more like internal cross union power struggles than anything else.
