The point is that the bush boyz lied repeatedly about the weapons as a reason to go to war. This is as serious a lie as a president can make. We all knew about the evils of Saddam but they were not the rationale used to get the American people to support the invasion. Bush is the biggest liar that has sat in the oval office in my lifetime. He is surpassing even Nixon.
