I believe your comparison with a "wee bit shop" selling "white boxes" is totally bogus. Can you support it, or are you just slinging FUD?

If Windows is threatened by Linux and Linux has issues when deployed for anything beyond the webserver (http://informationweek.com/story/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=10100565), it only means the Sun's Solaris franchise is secure. That's why Linux/Windows dynamics is helping Sun.

In addition, Itanium's woes is helping Sun's Sparc franchise.

Finally, Java franchise is still strong and growing.

Does that wee bit shop on corner of Central/Lawrence have three strong franchises?
