Actually, "coffee rooms" are a bit of a thorn in my paw. Most of the traffic IS in such threads. A lot of people who used to talk about the market are so wrapped up in political discussion that they no longer talk stocks and I seriously suspect it's become such an obsession that they may not even trade anymore.
