War was only imminent because the US was very stupid. War did not have to be imminent. There is nothing wrong with waiting- especially when the country you are watching isn't doing much. The US has done what Bin Laden wanted. It is always unwise to do what your enemy wants you to do. It is generally called playing into their hands, and I'm sorry my country did that- because I am a patriot.

Those unfriendly Islamic countries are much more unfriendly as of today (see the stats on Turkey and Malaysia). You will reap the whirlwind you have sown. Unfortunately those of us who were against the sowing will reap it too.

That's an obvious red herring. The UN was not involved in the invasion of Iraq.
