As the manufacturing sector shrinks due to international labor cost comparisons the service sector has been growing... The U.S. is the world technology leader... While the use and manufacture of typewriters may have declined significantly the use and manufacture of computers have grown... As the third world economy's labor costs draw nearer to ours we should see a pick up in our manufacturing numbers... In the meantime U.S. technology production, (Intel, Cisco, etc.), should grow...
