marc,

I only caught a few minutes of Bob this weekend but I thought there was an interesting answer to one call. Someone called asking about a piece of economic news that was disappointing and making a big deal out of it. The interesting part was when Bob responded about not making too much of one piece of data. He then strongly stated that for example some people are making a mistake taking one indicator that's not presently working while failing to look at the whole picture. I'm paraphrasing what I recall and not using his exact words. It struck me that he was probably talking about the Investors Intelligence lofty numbers and not the dribble the caller was asking about. I don't know if he addressed this more directly over the weekend but given my(and other's) concern over this indicator and Bob's dead on calls, my interpretation made me more comfortable about my current long position.
