This is interesting from Public Agenda. Doesn't jibe at all with all those editorials about how Bush "lied to us".

WITH THE U.S. COMMITTED TO AT LEAST a year's occupation of Iraq, surveys find majorities of Americans continue to support the war and believe the rebuilding is going well. The U.S. and its allies have yet to find solid evidence of Iraqi chemical and biological weapons, one of the major justifications for military action. In surveys, substantial majorities of the public say they believe Iraq probably had such weapons - but a majority also says the war was justified even if the weapons are never found.

<<If he did destroy them in 2002 without providing evidence of the destruction then he was still not in compliance with the cease fire agreements.>>

Just a thought that hit me with the talk about Saddam destroying the WMDs in 2002 or 2003 and not documenting it. What if he SOLD the WMDs in '02 or '03. He wouldn't want a paper trail on that or have the inspectors in on it. Might have figured he was in the clear if the inspectors couldn't find any WMDs.
