That is a good question. But, you are asking a bearded guy; so, I am not sure I am a good spokesperson. It could be that men want to keep their options open.

It sure makes more sense to wax than to shave everyday for a guy who never wants to have a beard. Maybe we could get rich marketing a product for men (shhhh) don't tell anybody 'bout it.

Maybe the answer lies more in the area of why don't men wear make up. Clearly some men have pale lips and indistinct eyelids. Men seem to care about their appearance, so why not make-up? Men certainly have had a history of make-up: whether to make themselves look more foreboding in battle, sun protection, or as more beautiful. It seems to me that the connotation for make-up in modern culture is to heighten feminine sexual attractiveness. Wax, is found on the market shelves in the area of feminine beauty products.
