I think that a lot of people aren't very involved in
the process. My feeling is that if this changes, Bush
will be defeated in 2004.

Oh - heard today on the radio - Tom Delay - who was opposed
to giving the child tax credit to lower income earners in
the $ 10,000 to $ 26,000 level - has now done an about
face - and supports it.

But - there is fine print:

* This group only won't get the money for their children
until 2004 - a year after everyone else.

* Some military families will still be excluded - or have
these delayed also.

I think if the real truth was known about what the Republicans do to the average person, any Democratic
challenger would win in a landslide in 2004. The problem
is getting the true facts out.
