There's probably something built into Unix to do just that, but I don't know Unix very well and am only willing to learn a little bit of it right now to the extent I need for immediate projects.

However, I did just fix the problem with the "Home" button and also just fixed the problem with profiles not showing avatars. That one was a lot more complicated.

I think that takes care of the most important ones except for possibly ad calls, which I'm going to check on right now.

The one I like is to do a find / -name -text print > allfiles.txt

Wait for a while until allfiles.txt is created and then grep somthingIamsearchingfor allfiles.txt|less and you will get all the hits real fast. Drawback is it needs rebuilding from time to time. Once a day on a busy system.. maybe...

There there is running tripwire.. big subject.. thorny but it is fun....

And there is the site search thingie too.. harvest.. etc.. a few tools out there..
