Agreed. Crazy, incomprehensible wanderings and wendings are directions, but without a point. Seems to me his use of direction intends to express purpose behind all those laws governing what we observe. It sounds to me initially like the discussions regarding meaning. Can we attribute "meaning" to matter that is purely behaving as a function of "Natural Law?" Bertrand Russell, "Unless you assume a God, the question of life's purpose is meaningless." We'll see what Nonzero speculates. He indicates right away he thinks there is a point, so we'll consider his propositions.
