Do you think there is a good chance big auto will be able to get large concessions from the unions? I think that automakers should start building inventory in anticipation of strikes.
I'm short Ford and think that only two things can save it from BK: much lower USD against JPY and/or much lower labor wages.

I wonder if the numbers are still correct. All the major airlines just completed labor contracts in order to come out of, or avoid, bankruptcy. I seem to remember the CWA reached some agreements not too long ago. The auto industry is obviously the biggie.

In addition, I wonder if the public employees associations are going to be screaming bloody murder soon with all state budget problems.

Then again, "they" tell me that 2h recovery is certain. I am just too stupid to understand this new concept called "jobless recovery"?
