These things have a momentum all of their own, and it requires a lot of self-discipline not to fall into bad habits.

Sometimes the self-discipline has to come from outside. ;)

In any event, it has been interesting watching this forum degrade. Shows us how valuable ken really is.

The "ignore" function is a useful substitute, though I don't like to use it too much.

No reason we should depend on Ken to do this stuff. Perhaps a collective effort could be mounted and your thread might be as good a place as any.


I can think of a reason. Only Ken can ban posters. Perhaps we are playing out the pitfalls of "collective security" already? who lays down the law, that is always the problem.
