But surprisingly, even with that relatively ancient equipment, cruising through the old Prodigy system was a mostly pleasant and surprisingly fast experience...
We had a lot of intelligent and famous folks to communicate with, and bashing did not become a major problem until the mid-1990s. When they pulled the plug in 1999, it was a very sad time for us "old timers".
About us not having to have any concerns about our government unless we are breaking the law, I used to think like that also. These days it would not surprise me at all if the government has a list of those who bash it's policies and methods on bulletin boards.
