Yes, you appear to have a problem out there. It's become essentially a one-party state if the GOP moderates have let the extreme right take over. Seems odd that a big supposedly progressive state can't find fiscally responsible candidates from the social center to give voters a decent choice. Hey, what ever happened to Pete McCloskey (sp?)? He was a GOP congressman from somewhere in Silly Valley back around '80. Politically, he was very close to John Anderson (if that means anything to you).
