I would be perfectly happy to have a Democratic President make whoopie.....with his wife. Baring that, I would not react so badly to a normal affair between peers. I do react badly to compulsive womanizing or the exploitation of a young person in a decidedly inferior position. But that was not what the impeachment was about. It was about applying the law without favoritism. Clinton supported and signed the legislation which permitted the kind of fishing expedition that caught him, thinking it would only be used against corporate executives. He had no right to gripe when it tripped him up, and, under the rules, he committed perjury and obstruction of justice, in clear violation of his oath of office, to uphold the Constitution and laws of the United States. Of course he deserved what he got. By the way, most wars were started by Democrats.
