Americans don’t go to war because corrupt leaders mistreat their people

They do if said leaders threaten to get a lock on our oil supply. Or, could you explain to me just what Gulf War I was all about? The threat to the oil supply worked before; it could have worked again, especially with the terrorism/revenge threat added it.
