I raised my eyebrows at that. Especially coming from Newt. I don't think he want's them to hire more Yalies. :>) I know he wants to change the way the place runs. And I think one of the changes is to take power away from the Ambassadors. That part of the operation was set up back when you might not hear from an Ambassador for three months.

The key complaint is attitude. That State represents the Foreign Government too much. They spend all their time with them, and they lose their viewpoint.
