That is NOT the point. The point is what right the US had to invade that country, on the basis of LIES, let us all recall.

People have the right and duty to shape their own future. If Iraqis were so unhappy under Saddam, they would eventually make a move - resistance, civil war, liberation from tyranny, whatever. They would do it themselves. If the US wanted so much to deliver them from their misery, it should have helped form a resistance. NOT invaded the country and taken over control of its oil.

Have you any sense of history, of long term effects of things?
