I know no such thing. I know that the Administration is taking steps to improve the economy. My interest is not in whether they are "compassionate", but in whether they will work, and therefore help everyone. The Democrats hide behind compassion, and then create policies that frequently hurt people, whatever their intention.

Whenever you transfer hundreds of billions from the federal coffers into the portfolios of the rich you are sucking up any potential hope the needy have for government help. You will never be able to sell me on your ideals as long as you start from a dishonest or slanted foundation. The above statement implies (states really) that the government is giving public money to the 'rich'. The ACTUAL mechanism is much different. The government is taking less money FROM 'the rich' as well as people who are not exactly rich (like me). As to whether this is right or wrong.. I am willing to argue... but I will not tolerate a lie as a foundation. As long as you try to twist reality I cannot see you as honest... at least intelectualy. I do not question the honesty of your HEART... Plus, look at how Bushies dropped child credits for families under $26,000, only to try and put them back (with more help for the rich) after public outcry. Once again... How can you give someone a tax credit when they pay NO TAXES??? Do you realize that is what happens??? You call tax breaks "transfer(s of) hundreds of billions from the federal coffers" and you label a sort of welfare (giving people federal tax refunds when they dont pay federal taxes) "credits". By the way... Jesus came to give GRACE to all people... rich or poor. Zaccheus was rich, but he was saved. Hatred for the rich is the flipside of the SAME coin as the greed of the rich. Insofar as I know him... Jesus stands for neither. cAPS
