The economy grew vigorously for most of the Reagan presidency, after a sharp recession that wrung stagflation out of the economy. The economy never "went down the tube for six years". There was a mild recession during the Bush Administration that lasted less than a year, that is all. Clinton inherited a growing economy. It is true that Bush and Clinton raised taxes, but not very high. Marginal tax rates remained much less than they had been before the Reagan Administration. Clinton did not "pay debt off in a serious way", since most of his Administration he ran deficits. Whatever debt was paid off made hardly a dent in the overall debt. Sorry, but you are woefully ignorant of well- established facts, and therefore, quite literally, do not know what you are talking about........
