The difference is that Bilow and his ilk only want the US to cease support for Israel; it's perfectly OK, and in fact highly desirable for everyone else to continue to pile on the cause to throw Jews in the sea.

I don't think his "ilk" is that simple Dennis. I will grant you that he may not be ready to slit his wrists were the Israel of today to disappear. But that is not the same "ilk" as those who espouse the elimination of any Israel whatsoever. <g>

I am guessing that you understandably, yet completely, ignore the unbridled optimism which permits his "ilk" to see a Jewish life on dry land resulting from an alternative course currently disfavored by the Bush/Blair/Sharon brain trust. He is not alone in his "ilk" either. Indeed he romps o'er that "ilk" of his with a substantial minority of Jew, Gentile, and Islamist alike.

Why they have chosen to make their minority report I cannot say. Alas, he has steadfastly refused to accept my repeated offer of a place of honor in my own humble "ilk."<vbg>

But mine is a patient "ilk." You may not join today. And you may not join tomorrow. But sooner or later you will all gain admittance to THE Great Ilk... one way or another. <Hoo><Hoo>

Think of the vibrant nature of the israeli economy if there was no war and they were able to turn the attentions of their creative and talented people to more peaceful concerns? Israel GNP would probably be bigger than that of France.<g> And the Palestinians would have come along for the ride initially and eventually prospered on their own. Lost opps. mike
